Horse and Pony Pellets 25KG

 Coupland’s Horse and Pony Pellets are formulated as a general purpose supplement to pasture, for horses and ponies under light to moderate work regimes.

Ingredients are selected for their contribution to the horse’s energy and protein requirements, and when fed in conjunction with hay, chaff or pasture offer a convenient and palatable means of supplementing the horse’s diet.

A comprehensive mineral and vitamin supplement containing organic selenium is included in this formulation.

Ingredients selected from: Barley, Wheat Bran, Wheat Pollard, Soy Bean Meal, Coconut Meal, Limestone, Salt, Molasses, Minerals and Vitamins.

Feeding Recommendations:

Maintenance and Spelling 1 – 2 kg

Light Work   2 – 3 kg

Moderate   3 – 4 kg

Heavy Work   4 kg plus

Wherever possible split the daily feed into at least 2 feeds.  These figures are intended as a guide only, feed amounts will vary depending on pasture availability and body conditions.  Horses are very much individuals, with differing rates of metabolic activity, some requiring a little more, whilst others less, for similar degrees of work activities.

Always ensure adequate fibre is made available as either pasture, hay or chaff, minimum 1.0% bodyweight.

High copper levels make this feed unsuitable for feeding to sheep or lambs.
